2017 Minority Small Business Construction Conference

The 2017 Minority Small Business Construction Conference, was held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the RISE Demonstration Center, at the St. Elizabeth’s East redevelopment in Southeast Washington, DC.  The theme of this year’s conference was Breakthrough to Excellence, Breaking Down Barriers in the Construction Industry. More than 60 small businesses were in attendance and a host of key speakers including: Jackie Robinson-Burnette, SBA Deputy Associate Administrator, Office of Government Contracting & Business Development, Trayon White, Ward 8 Councilmen, District of Columbia, Courtney Snowden, District of Columbia Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity, and Spencer Davis, Chief Operating Officer, DC General Services Administration.
